I just wrapped up a Halloween 🎃 inspired project that recreates the plaque from the Haunted Mansion at Disney. The 3D model was taken from actual photos at the park from a few years back.
I don't get deep into the Fusion side of things in the build video but I'm currently editing the full tutorial on how I did all the tool paths and it should be out early next week!
Let me know what questions you've got about it.

I just put out a video walking through all the changes to free plan of Fusion 360 and how they will affect people using Fusion for furniture design.
Also the full write up is here.
Bottom line is you shouldn't see much difference if you aren't really trying to crank out product on the manufacturing side. For general modeling pretty much everything is staying the same.

So there has been a lot of discussion around the new changes to Fusion. I wanted to a wait a little bit for the dust to settle and see what was going on.
I'm planning on doing a video about it later this week but for the most part everything that we do in all my courses will stay mostly the same. You might run into the 10 active project limit but you can still have unlimited archived projects. You'll just have to switch them on and off.
The big hit for anyone doing 3D printing was going to be export in STEP format. Just a few days ago they announced that that was coming back.
Lars Christenson who is on the team at Fusion and one of the best teachers on YouTube just put a great video walking through the changes as well as interviewing the VP of Fusion at Autodesk.
My big takeaway is they still do value the maker hobby market, they are just not wanting people to take advantage of it and make real money off the program. If you in that boat then a paid license should make sense.
Let me know what questions you all have, I want to make sure I address it in the upcoming video.

If you have ever wanted to learn Fusion and looked up tutorials on YouTube then there is a nearly 100% chance you have come across Lars.
Lars was an ambassador for the program and is an awesome teacher. Now he leads the community team for Fusion 360 at Autodesk. We will get into his extensive background with CNC and digital 3D modeling.
